Underpass under Route 93 south of Basin East. Sight lines are short, and the puddle is persistent, leading southbound bicyclists like the ones in the photo to cross to the left side of the path. The "Bike Walk Zone" sign can fairly be assumed to reflect a history of serious crashes at this location. John Allen photo, 2001.
